Features
You May Select In Your Calling Plan
The following group of features may be added to your local
calling plan. If you select the 1000 plan, you may select three
of the below features at no additional charge. If you select the
Unlimited Plan or Unlimited Plus Plan, you may select unlimited
features from the list below. Please note that some features may
not be available by state. Feature availability and selection is
located on page two of the online enrollment process.
Call Trace
Call Trace is a feature used to identify the calling telephone
number of an unwanted or harassing telephone call. The call
trace feature temporarily stores the dialed digits to allow
authorities to investigate the source of the unwanted or
unauthorized call.
Call Waiting
Call waiting is a feature that notifies you that another
incoming call is waiting to be answered using a brief tone. You
may answer another call with this feature without hanging up on
the original call.
Caller ID
Caller ID is a feature which displays the telephone number of an
incoming caller. If you select this feature, you will need to
have a Caller ID box or telephone equipment that supports this
feature.
Caller ID with Name
Caller ID with Name is a feature which displays both the
telephone number and name of an incoming caller. If you select
this feature, you will need to have a Caller ID box or telephone
equipment that supports this feature.
Call Waiting with ID with
Name Caller Waiting with ID with Name
is a feature which displays both the telephone number and name
of an incoming caller while you are on the phone with another
caller. If you select this feature, you will need to have a
Caller ID box or telephone equipment that supports this feature.
Call Forwarding
Call forwarding is a feature that allows you to have important
calls automatically redirected to another telephone number or
device such as a voice mail when you are away so you don't miss
your important calls.
Ring no answer Call
Forward Ring No Answer Call Forward is
a feature which automatically redirects incoming calls that
aren't picked up to another telephone number or voicemail box.
Busy Call Forward
Busy Call Forward is a feature which automatically sends
incoming calls to another number or voicemail box when you are
on the line.
Call Forward Remote
Access Call Forward Remote Access is a
feature that allows you to have important telephone calls
automatically redirected to another telephone number or device
such as a voice mail via access from another location so you
don't miss your important calls.
3-way Calling
Three Way Calling is a feature that allows you to add a third
party on the line of an existing two-party call and allows you
to speak with all three parties.
3-way Calling with Call
Transfer Three Way Calling with Call
Transfer is a feature that allows you to add a third party on
the line of an existing two-party call and allows you to speak
with all three parties. When you want to drop out of the
conversation, you can hang up without disconnecting the other
parties.
Call Return
Call return, also known as Star 69 or Automatic
Call Back, allows you to automatically redial the last incoming
call to your phone line simply by dialing a code.
Call Return Block
Call Return Block denies that ability to automatically redial
last incoming calls via a code.
Speed Dialing (30)
Speed Dialing 30 allows you to store up to 30 telephone numbers
on your telephone for quick dialing using two digits rather than
ten digits.
Speed Dialing (8)
Speed Dialing 8 allows you to store up to 8 telephone numbers on
your telephone for quick dialing using two digits rather than
ten digits.
Repeat Dialing
Repeat Dialing, also known as *66 or busy redial, automatically
continues to dial a busy number for you, for up to 30 minutes,
and will alert you once the call is connected.
Anonymous Call Rejection
Anonymous Call Rejection is a feature which allows you to reject
calls from callers who have blocked the display of their
telephone numbers from Caller ID devices. Therefore, callers
must unblock their numbers in order to reach you.
Call Block
Call Block is a feature that allows you to reject calls from
callers who have selected a privacy feature that disables the
display of their calling telephone number as well as up to six
telephone numbers you program that you want blocked.
Call Screening
Call Screening is a feature that allows you to reject calls from
callers who have selected a privacy feature that disabling the
display of their telephone number. Also, you may program to
screen out individual telephone numbers of your choice.
900/976 Block
900/976 Block stops all 1-900 or 1-976 calls placed from your
telephone line. Privacy Director
Privacy Director allows you to screen unidentified calls before
the call is connected by playing a recorded message requesting
the caller to identify themselves. Based on the incoming callers
response, you may choose to either accept or reject the call.
Distinctive Ring I
Distinctive Ring is a feature used for two telephone numbers
coming into one single line which alerts you which number the
incoming caller dialed via a special ring.
Distinctive Ring II
Distinctive Ring is a feature used for three telephone numbers
coming into one single line which alerts you which number the
incoming caller dialed via a special ring.
Ringmaster I
Ringmaster I is a feature used for two telephone numbers coming
into one single line which alerts you which number the incoming
caller dialed via a special ring.
Ringmaster II Ringmaster II is a
feature used for three telephone numbers coming into one single
line which alerts you which number the incoming caller dialed
via a special ring. Custom Toll
Restriction Custom Toll Restriction
keeps away phone bill surprises by blocking certain chargeable
outgoing calls. You may select from a combination of blocking
plans including 976 and 900 numbers, long-distance operator
assisted calls, international direct-dialed calls and 10-10
numbers.

Voicemail
($5.95 Extra) Voice
Mail is a feature that provides you with an electronic mailbox
that can answer and store incoming voice messages either while
you are away or on the phone and will allow you to retrieve your
messages from any location.
Inside Wire Maintenance
(See Page 2 of signup for pricing
and details) Inside Wire Maintenance
is a protection plan for necessary repairs to lines in your
home. In the event a wiring problem occurs, a representative
will come to your house at no extra charge for repair work. If
you do not have this plan, repairs may become costly.
Private Directory Listing
(See Page 2 of signup for pricing
and details) Private Directory Listing
keeps your telephone number out of the phone book or telephone
directory such as 411. Non Listed
Number (See Page 2 of signup for
pricing and details) Non-Listed Number
keeps your telephone number out of the phone book but it can be
retrieved through a telephone directory such as 411.
Additional Directory
Listing (See Page 2 of signup for
pricing and details) For multi-line
account, additional directory listing publishes an additional
number in the telephone book or directory.
